Summary: In this episode, Fady and Kristen interview Megan Adelman, PharmD, BCPS, BCGP, CDCES. Dr. Adelman is a Clinical Pharmacy Specialist at the Cleveland Clinic Akron General Center for Family Medicine. She earned her Doctor of Pharmacy from the Northeast Ohio Medical University in 2015 and completed her PGY1 Pharmacy Residency at the Carolinas Medical Center and a PGY2 in Geriatrics at the Louis Stokes Cleveland VAMC. Dr. Adelman talks to us about what it means to be a family medicine pharmacist, how she collaborates with other health care providers, and how collaborative practice agreements enhance the role of the pharmacist when it comes to patient care.
